We are seeking a Facilities Strategic Planning Manager to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization, leading a team of strategic planners located in Everett, Washington.

Our Strategic Planning team partners with multiple organizations within Boeing, to include Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Boeing Global Services (BGS), and our Corporate Enterprise functions.

This role involves effective leadership, collaboration & relationship management with stakeholders across these multiple organizations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning; collaboration and integration with our facilities teams to include analysts, project & property administrators, facilities provisioning, engineering, construction and plant & equipment maintenance

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

  • Manages, leads, coaches, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

  • 3 years of experience developing strategic long range business plans

  • 3 years of experience developing & delivering presentations to senior leaders

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 years of experience leading or managing a team

  • 3 years of experience with real estate project management

  • 3 years of experience in occupancy and space planning

  • 3 years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs

  • Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance

Summary pay range: $127,500 – $172,500
