Excavating Project Manager

A leading excavating company is actively seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join their team. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of excavating, water/sewer, and utility projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of excavating, utility, and civil construction projects
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and field operations
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues to keep projects on track

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in excavating, water/sewer, utilities, or related heavy civil construction
  • Experience working with subcontractors and managing field operations
  • Strong knowledge of heavy civil/highway projects, grading, concrete, and underground work
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Familiarity with heavy construction equipment and operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Stable work history
