The Senior Program Manager will drive critical, high-impact programs that are global and centralized, supporting candidates and Talent Acquisition teams worldwide. This role requires the ability to see both the forest and the treesdiving deep into process design and optimization while developing program strategy and reporting status to senior leadership. You will own a portfolio of strategic initiatives from ideation to execution, delivering VP/Director-level work that enhances Amazon's recruiting operations and candidate experience.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:
Shape the future of Amazon Talent Acquisition, owning critical goals to achieve growth, scale, and drive continuous innovation across global recruiting operations
Design, prioritize, and drive strategic programs and roadmap inputs that optimize recruiting processes, reduce candidate start time delays, and eliminate blockers to hiring efficiency
Partner with and influence recruiting organizations across Amazon globally, building relationships with stakeholders from multiple regions and translating business needs into operational solutions
Create and maintain complex program plans and manage project schedules; collaborate effectively across teams to drive commitment to timelines and deliverables
Define operational planning and work alongside the senior leadership team to establish strategic priorities and resource allocation
Own communications to project members and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks including regular status updates, executive briefings, and white paper analysis
Lead the execution of programs with rigor and precision, developing new methods and mechanisms to drive repeatable delivery and operational excellence
Represent the voice of the customerboth candidates and recruitersin stakeholder meetings, translating insights into sustainable process improvements and technology enhancements
Drive technology implementation and adoption, including design, configuration, change management, communications, training, and end-user adoption across global teams
Leverage data and metrics to identify opportunities, measure program impact, and drive continuous improvement in recruiting operations performance

The ROC Operations team is reinventing how we support recruiting at Amazon. Recruiting the right candidates across all of Amazon is critical to our ability to innovate and build on behalf of customers. As the search for talent becomes more competitive, we are bringing together recruiting coordination, global talent solutions, programs, process, and technology teams to deliver world-class service to candidates and hiring teams more quickly and efficiently. ROC Operations supports Global Talent Acquisition across 59 countries, managing critical recruiting operations that enable Amazon to hire at scale. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead initiatives that innovate, scale, and improve global services and capabilities for the Amazon recruiting community. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful impact across one of the world's largest and most complex recruiting operations.

Basic Qualifications

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in large-scale recruiting or operations environments
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience representing the voice of the customer in stakeholder meetings and translating it into sustainable change
- Experience working in a global role with stakeholders from multiple regions
- Experience influencing technology including design, configuration, project management, change management, communications, training, and end-user adoption
- Experience leading matrixed teams of stakeholders to achieve common goals
- Knowledge of recruiting processes and experience working across multiple teams
- Quantitative background with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Decision-making and complex problem-solving skills; a systems thinker who proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources to make the right decision

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
