WORK SCHEDULE
- Per diem
- Mix of morning, evening and overnight shifts
- This position is intended to cover calls outs and planned absences

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Independently operate a remote food service area / espresso bar
- Performs routine work in preparing and serving espresso beverages and food items and cleaning activities
- Performs a variety of duties in the preparation and service of espresso beverages and food items
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides excellent, respectful customer service to a diverse customer base, in a medical setting.
- Train new or unskilled employees in the preparation and service of espresso beverages and food items; cleaning and stocking duties and departmental procedures.
- Operate all espresso and/or food service equipment and machinery.
- Prepare and serve food items. Stock supplies necessary for preparation and service of beverages and food items. Display food and espresso items in attractive manner.
- Operate cash register. Handle cash, check and charge payments for beverage and food items in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment AND one year of experience preparing and serving food and beverage.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
