The Patient Financial and Scheduling Specialist is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that coordinates the financial and scheduling of patients seeking care for the management of their pain. Responsible for appointment and surgical scheduling, insurance authorization. Selects and reserves specific equipment for the case scheduled, maintains positive and professional customer relations and seeks client feedback. Works collaboratively with the Pre-Admission Center clerical staff to schedule pre-admission appointments.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of patient registration, financial counseling or insurance company experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Business or Accounting
- 2 years of Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office and the Excel programs
- 2 years of experience in a medical inpatient or outpatient admitting setting
