Basic Job Functions:
The Shipping Crane Operator position is a role responsible for safely performing shipping crane operations and operating cranes in accordance with all company, site-specific, and regulatory requirements.
Safety, communication, situational awareness, and adherence to operating fundamentals are critical to success in this role. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Previous cab crane operating experience
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes
